Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Corgi / Mixed Dog

Bandit the Dog needs a home

Handsome and charming Bandit is a 7 year old Heeler mix who weighs 35 pounds. This boy is as unique as they come, with the markings of a Heeler, but the stubby legs of a Corgi! He also has a nub tail and short snout with a enormously long tongue that doesn't even fit in his mouth. It is hanging out most of the time due to his equally adorable underbite! He puts up a stoic front on first meeting, but given a little time, he will be on your lap giving as many kisses as you can handle! Bandit is a loyal and devout companion and enjoys nothing more than being with his people. He is very much a heeler and a family with herding dog experience would be best! He should live with older, dog savvy children due to his mouthy Heeler tendencies. Bandit is good with dogs and cats, but isnt very playful, he is a people dog. Bandit is house and crate trained and does well on leash. Bandit is looking for his one and only soul mate and would enjoy a quiet home without too many humans around. He has the perfect energy level to hang out on the couch during the week and enjoy a nice weekend hike!

All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application
